Star Rating: 5 (It was great!)

Review:  I’m still experimenting with where this book fits.  I think it’s a “must read” for any instructor (not just leadership) because it explains why our students may behave the way they do when getting performance feedback  (e.g. resistant, argumentative).  I think there is a connection to leadership.  Leadership without a growth mindset seems destined for disaster.  However, the book does not talk explicitly about leadership.  I think it provides personal insight into one’s professional development approach, which some students will find affirming and other students will find liberating.  The concepts in this book are also widely quoted in other books.
